This Privacy Policy describes how Pete Sacco Ventures LLC ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Bliss Tracker application ("App") on iOS, Android, the web, or any other platform. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
This policy is designed to meet the requirements of the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and general web and privacy regulations (including where applicable the GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws).
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: When you register or sign in (including via Google or email/password), we may collect your email address, name (first and last), and optionally your phone number.
- Content you create: Goals, categories, practices, check-ins, notes, and any other data you enter or upload within the App.
- Communications: If you contact us for support or feedback, we may collect the content of your messages and your contact details.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and usage data: Device type, operating system, app version, and general usage (e.g., features used, frequency of use) to operate and improve the App.
- Log data: Server logs may include IP address, request timestamps, and similar technical data.
- Cookies and similar technologies: We use session cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to operate the App (e.g., authentication, security).
1.3 Information from Third-Party Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we receive from Google the information you allow (such as email and name) in accordance with Google's policies and your Google account settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App and your account.
- Authenticate you and manage your account and preferences.
- Process payments and subscriptions (see Section 5).
- Send you service-related communications (e.g., account or security notices, subscription updates).
- Respond to your requests and support inquiries.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- Protect the security and integrity of the App and our systems.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR and Similar Laws)
Where applicable (e.g., in the European Economic Area or UK), we process your personal data based on:
- Contract: To provide the App and perform our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: To operate, secure, and improve the App and to communicate with you about the service.
- Consent: Where we rely on consent (e.g., optional marketing or non-essential cookies), you may withdraw it at any time.
- Legal obligation: Where required by law.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service providers: With vendors who help us run the App (e.g., hosting, databases, authentication, payment processing, analytics if we use them). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only as we instruct.
- Google Sign-In: When you choose to sign in with Google, your sign-in is handled by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy.
- Payment processing: Payment and subscription data are processed by our payment and subscription providers (e.g., Stripe for web, and Apple/Google for in-app purchases). We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status across platforms. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. See Section 5.
- Legal and safety: When required by law, or to protect our or others' rights, safety, or property.
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, sale, or other transfer of our business or assets, subject to the same privacy commitments.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status across the App. In-app purchases and subscriptions (e.g., on iOS and Android) are processed by Apple and Google respectively. Web or other payments may be processed by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe). We receive only information necessary to manage your subscription (e.g., subscription status, customer identifier). Payment card details are handled solely by the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers. Please review the applicable platform or payment provider's privacy policy (and RevenueCat's privacy policy where relevant) for their practices.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App and comply with legal obligations. After account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (e.g., HTTPS/TLS) and at rest where applicable, secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
8.1 General
- You may access, update, or delete your account and much of your data through the App or by contacting us.
- You may opt out of non-essential communications (e.g., marketing) where we offer that option.
8.2 GDPR / EEA and UK
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you may have the right to: access your personal data; rectify or erase it; restrict or object to certain processing; data portability; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@petesacco.com.
8.3 CCPA / California
If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used and shared, to delete your personal information, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information (we do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA), and to non-discrimination. 8.4 iOS and Android
You can manage app permissions (e.g., notifications) in your device settings. Deleting the App may remove locally stored data; to delete data stored on our servers, please delete your account or contact us.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses or other approved mechanisms) where required by law for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in the App or by email). Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For the Apple App Store and Google Play, the current version will always be available at the link provided in the app listing.
